Educativo Bienal
The Bienal has prepared several ways to further enhance visitors' contact with the works and the exhibition, always keeping in mind its core concepts: experience, dialogue and interaction. Guided visits, workshops, meetings with artists, lectures, laboratories with educational material, meetings with professors and a special events schedule for families are just some of the activities proposed by Educativo Bienal. Talk with an Educator or see the complete events schedule online at the exhibition website. All the activities have the objective of enriching your knowledge of art and assimilating it into your everyday experiences.
For more information, look for the Reception staff at the entrance or the Educators on each floor

The exhibition catalog features an introduction written by Paulo Venancio Flho explaining the curatorial concept which guides the exhibition, as well as a compilation of approximately sixty historical texts: articles published in newspapers of high circulation and specialized magazines, which tell a little of the history of the exhibition through its critical reception. These texts are accompanied by reproductions of the works exhibited in addition to a selection of historical images of each Bienal.
